Your business landline, on the devices you choose.

Take and make business calls on mobile, desk phones or both. Add reception and shared ringing without losing the trusted number your customers already know.

Oblyx Voice is introduced as a managed, controlled rollout. Each number, device and call route is commissioned and tested for the customer before use.

One calling service. Wherever your people work.

Oblyx Voice brings the recognisable business number, the people answering it and the devices they use into one managed call journey.

Mobile calling

Put the business landline on your mobile.

Receive an agreed business number through the Oblyx mobile app. In the full calling service, outgoing calls can present the approved business identity instead of a personal mobile number.

Multi-device

Ring the mobile and desk phone together.

Use a supported combination of enrolled mobiles and managed compatible desk phones. Answer on the device that suits the moment; the other ringing device stops when the call is taken.

Planned next

Move a live caller to the right person.

Blind and announced handset transfer are planned after the first mobile release. They will be offered only after the company directory and real handset call path have passed separate acceptance.

Reception

Give the main number a proper front door.

Route important calls to a reception group, named team or agreed overflow path, with business hours and fallback behaviour defined around real cover.

Desk phones

Keep a physical phone where it earns its place.

Oblyx commissions managed compatible desk phones for desks, workshops, shared spaces and reception rather than forcing every user into one way of working.

Incoming & outgoing

Call as the business, not as a private mobile.

The managed service supports inbound and outbound business calling with approved caller identity, destination controls and customer-specific acceptance. Exact calling scope is agreed before activation.

Call outcomes

Know what happened when the phone rang.

Call history distinguishes completed, missed and answered-on-another-device calls, so the team can see the outcome and return an important call without relying on memory.

The technology follows the call journey.

Oblyx Voice is a managed phone service. We agree how calls should move through the business, set up the right devices and test the real scenarios before handover.

  2. Choose where each call should ringCombine enrolled mobiles, compatible desk phones, individuals and groups around the way the team works.
  3. Define routing and fallbackSet the permitted call route, overflow, no-answer and out-of-hours journey before activation.
  4. Test on real devicesConfirm the included inbound, outbound, shared ringing, answer and end paths with two-way audio.
  5. Keep ownership clearDocument the service, devices, suppliers and support route so changes and missed calls have a responsible owner.

A website creates the opportunity. Voice helps answer it.

“The website looks really promising and even though it has only been live a few weeks we are already receiving enquiries. We now use Oblyx Voice so we never miss an opportunity.”

Can I keep my business number?

Existing numbers can be reviewed for controlled porting, or Oblyx can agree a suitable new number. Ownership, emergency details and the migration path are confirmed before change.

Can different devices ring at once?

Yes, in a supported managed deployment. An enrolled mobile and compatible desk phone can share the call journey, with each additional device and user included in the service definition.

Are transfers available?

Blind and announced handset transfer are planned follow-on features. They are not included in the first mobile release and will require separate physical acceptance before being offered.

Coming soon

AI assistance will follow the core calling service.

Call summaries, transcription and intelligent reception are planned for a later phase. Privacy, consent and retention controls will be settled before any AI feature becomes part of a customer service.

Start with the number and devices your business needs.

Managed business numbers, compatible desk phones, incoming and outgoing calling, and agreed call routing are commissioned customer by customer. Mobile shared ringing is in controlled rollout and included only where the complete deployment has passed acceptance. Blind and announced handset transfer will follow separately.
